A Louisville family is mourning after a deadly shooting left one twin brother dead and the other seriously injured.

Police say both brothers were shot inside their home in the Smoketown neighborhood on Friday. Remon Allen died at the hospital, while his twin, Ravon Allen, survived after being shot five times.

Ravon recounts the terrifying moments of the attack. He says they were asleep when someone broke in and opened fire. “The way I saw my brother laying there, it hurts… we went through everything together,” he said.

The twins had been inseparable for 27 years. Now, Ravon hopes to see justice for his brother and to find closure for his family.

Authorities continue to investigate the shooting and are working to identify a suspect. The community has rallied around the family during this difficult time.
