Heat, Storm Chances, Then a Refreshing Reset
It’s Friday, Hilltoppers! I hope you have all had a great week. We have had some warm but beautiful weather this week. Yesterday’s storms brought some much-needed rain, and we have more of that coming tomorrow.
Today, we’re looking at another day that feels like summer. Temperatures today will hit the upper 80’s, and with dewpoints creeping into the 60’s, we may feel some mugginess out there. There is a slight chance for a pop-up thunderstorm today with all the sunshine we’re going to see.
On Saturday, we’re looking at our rain chances to return. While Bowling Green isn’t under any severe risk, we could see a thunderstorm or two with some gusty winds and heavy rain. These storms will be ahead of a cold front that will knock down our temperatures.
Closing out the weekend, temperatures return to average after the cold front passage. High pressure builds back up on Sunday with plenty of sunshine. Next week, we’re looking at even more sunshine as temperatures build back up.
Have a great weekend, folks!
