Gas Prices Hike Hitting US Consumers Hard
Gas prices have sky rocketed as the US is involved in a war with Iran. The price has reached around four dollars per gallon which is the highest the US has seen since 2022. The war with Tehran has disrupted tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. This has cut off nearly 20 percent of the US oil supply.
Analyst say that prices may remain high for as long as the conflict is going on, however President Trump says a deal is possible. Higher prices may impact summer travels raising the overall trip expenses.
