(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) The Wes Strader classic featured an 18 point comeback between the Jeffersontown Chargers (13-4) and the Owensboro Catholic Aces (14-6) on Saturday.

Junior PG Dayvonne Harrison led the way for the Chargers with 21 points, including 10 from the stripe. Luke Beickman was the only player for the Aces in double figures with a game-high 34 points.

Owensboro Catholic came storming out of the gate, scoring 20 in the first quarter. J-Town, on the other hand, struggled to find any rhythm besides the 9 points from Senior SG Prince Kahnplaye, who totaled 17 on the night.

The second quarter kept the Aces out in front with two quick threes from Junior guard Davyn Randolph. The Chargers stayed in this one thanks to extra effort from guys like Junior SG Breyonne Faulkner, who scored in every quarter.

The tables turned coming out of the half, with Jeffersontown scoring double the amount of points as Catholic in the third. The Aces had a hard time stopping Junior guard Damere Clark from forcing his way inside and capitalizing with free throws.

The final quarter of play saw Beickman single-handedly keeping the Aces in this one, as he scored all 12 of their fourth quarter points. Yet it was not enough as Harrison hit all 10 free throws he attempted in the quarter, leading the Chargers to a 70-62 victory over the Aces.

Jeffersontown improves to 14-4 on the season as Owensboro Catholic falls to 14-7. The Chargers will be back in action on Tuesday night at home against Ballard, while the Aces face off against Muhlenberg County that same night.
