Georgia Farm Seeks Help to Relocate More Than 65 Animal Rescues

A Georgia animal sanctuary is seeking help as it relocates to Jamestown Kentucky.

Owner Maryann Marsh says the sanctuary needs transportation for more than 65 animals. The goal is to move as many animals as possible together before April 1.

Marsh says that the move from Georgia comes after she was diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy. The new location is easier to move around and will allow Marsh to rescue more animals in the future.

The sanctuary is asking for volunteers with large transport vehicles, or donations to help cover the cost of moving. Marsh says that community support is critical for small, donation based rescues to continue helping animals in need.
