A Cold Start to the Week and Back In the Mid-60s by Midweek
Good afternoon Bowling Green! If you noticed the chillier weather outside today, that’s the cold front settling in over our area. Temperatures today are only expected to get into the high 40s today with some isolated showers over our area, along with wind speeds in the teens and wind gusts into the 20s.
Looking into tonight, scattered rain showers look to continue to move across our area before transitioning into rain and snow showers. Lows tonight are in the middle-20s. Be sure to bundle up nice and warm if you are out and about during the night hours!
Moving into Monday, we have the chance for some snow flurries across the area as that cold front continues to lurk over our area. No accumulation is expected with these snow showers, but wind speeds look to come back into the forecast and make the air feel colder than what it really is. High temps Monday look to be in the high 30s, barely reaching 40.
Those snow showers move out of the area later into the night, with lows reaching the lower 20s.
The Veterans Day forecast looks mild with mostly sunny skies and temperatures right around 50 degrees.
Looking into Wednesday and Thursday, we continue into that warm-up trend, with temperatures reaching into the lower 60s.
Stay warm everyone, and let’s start the week strong!
