A Bright Start to the Week, but Rain Ending the School Week!

Today is a chilly but still warmer start to the week compared to the previous days. Clear skies are expected during the day and evening, but as today becomes tomorrow, patchy fog will roll into the area. Temperatures will peak at about 61 degrees today and then bottom out at 36 degrees.
Tomorrow, we can expect the warming trend to continue, with fog from the previous evening expected to dissipate around 8 AM, giving way to clear skies and a high of 66 degrees. Those walking around campus can expect a very slight south breeze to develop in the afternoon, peaking at 6 mph. Clear conditions are expected to persist into the evening hours, with a low of 48 degrees.
As Wednesday’s warming trend peaks, Wednesday boasts a high of 71 degrees but will also bring stronger winds than previous days, with southwest winds between 6 and 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph possible in the affected area. Wednesday will conclude with clear skies and a low around 43 degrees.
Thursday will see a gradual return to crisp fall temperatures, with a high of 69 degrees and sunny skies. The evening hours will follow suit with clear skies and a low around 51 degrees.
To conclude the school week, we will see warmer temperatures in the low 70s once again, with partly sunny skies today and a high of 72. Showers are likely, and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Chance of precipitation is 60%, with a 30% chance of showers before midnight, followed by partly cloudy conditions with a low around 46 degrees.
